


Preschool Camp - The children will have a chance to be challenged by many of the Traditional Camp activities geared to their age level as well as some Preschool type activities. Such as crafts, sand & water play, games, picnics etc... Book with the registration to the left in the Traditional camp program and check the box for Preschool Camp, Camp cost is same as Traditional Day Camp.
Music Camp – Music Camp will be offered in Session 5 for 2-3hrs/day. Lessons in Guitar or Ukulele are included in the price of music camp. There will be opportunities for campers to demonstrate their new skills for parents on Rodeo Day and also at the Talent Show. 1/2hr lessons in Guitar or ukulele are available for all campers each week at an additional cost.

Course Description: ESL Program For Learners Ages 6-16: 1 hour English lessons designed to introduce 15 to 20 new words to the student. Theme-based topics: horseback riding, mealtimes, hobbies, nature, animals & related vocabulary. Questions/answer practice exercises & workbook for in class use.
General Description: In keeping with the "fun" side of camp, this program is geared to encourage speaking as apposed to writing proficiency. By using picture images, with English labels, each child gains a certain level of familiarity with the terminology presented.
Pamela Murray is our English as a Second Language Instructor. Pam has a background in English & French studies and is the active owner and founder of Execuform Inc., which has provided language courses for the business community in Montreal since 1992. She possesses both a Master of Science and a BA in Translation (Eng/Fr). Born and raised in Ontario and having spent 21 years in Montreal and Trois-Rivieres, she is well aware of the challenges facing second language learners and adjusts her course material and teaching style accordingly. Since 2007 Pam has been offering her services to our campers, helping them learn and have fun at the same time. She has taught children and youth from Columbia, Quebec, etc. Pam has 2 children, Maya & Emile, that love being a part of camp as well.
Typical Day of Camp
8am – Breakfast for all campers
9-12pm – Campers rotate through 3 different skill sessions (Activities vary each day)
Lunch
1-3pm. – Beach & Waterfront, Horsemanship classes.
3-4pm Tuck Shop & time of relaxation and visiting with camp friends.
4pm – Skill Session
5pm – Supper
6:30pm – Evening Program (Wide Game, Scavenger Hunt, Wacky Water games, Skits, Campfire, Campouts, Snack, Girls Spa night, Guys Fishing Night etc.)
Rodeo Day
– Each riding group performs a musical ride routine for family and friends as well as performances by Music Camp, campers that take music lessons, and variety kids in archery and mt biking. The Rodeo is held each Saturday at 11am, and is followed by a BBQ Buffet lunch which campers and their families are invited to attend.
