Head Cook – is responsible to establish and maintain food services in the Dining Room as part of the overall food service program at Frontier Trails Camp. Applicant can hold a culinary degree and/or demonstrate proficiency in preparing food as required by Frontier Trails Camp. Applicant must be willing to work long hours and some weekends during the summer. Must enjoy children and be a team worker. First Aid & CPR an asset, require police check upon hire.


Craft Coordinator – Responsible to prepare and organize crafts for the camp season for campers 6-16. Applicant should have some experience in leading, organizing, and teaching crafts. Applicant must be willing to work as part of a team and long hours during the summer. Must enjoy working with children as a team. Police check required upon hire.

Counselor/Instructor – Counselors are responsible for their dorm of campers, leading some activities, and participating in caring for Frontier Trails Camp and its facilities.
Applicant must be willing to work as part of a team, and work long hours during the summer, and some weekends. Applicant must be at least 16 yrs old, 18 yrs if the head counselor.Must enjoy working with children and as a team. First Aid & CPR an asset, require police check upon hire.

Head Lifeguard/Waterfront Director – Responsible for supervising Frontier Trails Camps Waterfront area and programs, importance of safety and health of campers and staff while at the waterfront area. Supervisory experience preferred. NLS required, Swim Instructors and Boat Safety an asset. Applicant must be willing to work as part of a team,enjoy working with children, and long hours and some weekends in the summer. First Aid & CPR are required. Must be 18 yrs or older. Police Check required upon hire.

Assistant Lifeguard – Responsible for life guarding the Frontier Trails Camp Waterfront, teaching swimming lessons (if accredited), and assisting in the waterfront and general camp duties. Prefer NLS, Swim Instructors and Boat Safety an asset. Applicant must be willing to work as part of a team, & long hours and some weekends during the summer & enjoy working with kids. Experience an asset. First Aid and CPR required. Applicant must be 16 yrs of age (assistant lifeguard), 18 yrs of age for Head Lifeguard.

Riding Instructor – is responsible for the general care of Frontier Trails Camp horses and must be enthusiastic and a safe riding instructor for campers. Experience working with horses is required, preferably teaching experience in English and Western riding. EFC or CHA riding Inst. Levels preferred Applicant must be willing to work long hours and some weekends during the summer. Enjoy working with Kids and be a Team worker. First Aid & CPR an asset. Require police check upon hire. Applicant must be at least 18 yrs old, 17 if an assistant or stable hand.
